Shimit Amin was a movie buff turned director, eager to make movies in Bollywood and beyond.
The Past
Shimit Amin was born in Uganda and later moved to Florida, USA. Soon as he graduated, his passion for cinema took over. He went to Hollywood and gained experience in various fields within film making like script assistance and editing.
Bollywood Calling
Amin came to Bollywood to edit Ram Gopal Varma’s Bhoot. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Editing in 2004.
