Poker face and slapstick are what comes to mind when you think of Ranvir Shorey.
Basics on Ranvir Ranvir Shorey was born on 13th January 1967 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Shorey was dating actress Pooja Bhatt. Their relationship ended on a bitter note and Shorey filed a case against her brother Rahul for assaulting him.
He is currently dating actress Konkana Sen Sharma.
He entered the entertainment industry as a VJ on Channel [V]. Along with Vinay Pathak, he anchored Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun? and The Great Indian Comedy Show.
Ranvir Shorey’s Movies Ranvir Shorey made his debut in movies with Manisha Koirala in Ek Choti Si Love Story (2002). The movie was a disaster. In Jism (2003), which was produced by his ex-girlfriend Pooja Bhatt, he played John Abraham’s colleague.
Some of his memorable roles are as Nanoo in Pyar Ke Side effects (2006) and Mallika Sherawat’s henpecked boyfriend in Ugly Aur Pagli (2008).
He worked with Akshay Kumar in Singh is Kinng (2008) which was a success. They came together again for Chandni Chowk to China (2009) and the movie was slotted as one of the worst releases in 2009. He played Chop Stick, a shrewd god man who has a change of heart.
He has three movies that will hopefully make up for the failure of Chandni Chowk to China. Do Not Disturb, Tina Ki Chaabi and I am 24 will be releasing in 2009.
