Kumar Sanu with his deep, mellow voice is one of the most established playback singers in Bollywood.

Basics on Kumar Sanu
Kedarnath Bhattacharya, who later came to be known as Kumar Sanu, was born on 22nd September 1957 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. His father Pashupathi Bhattacharjee was a musician and Sanu learnt the tabla and classical music from him.

Sanu has a degree in Commerce from the Calcutta University. He started performing in 1979.
