Basics on Jeeva
Jeeva was born as Amar Choudary on 4th January 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is originally from Rajasthan. His father is R.B.Choudary, a movie producer. Jeeva has three brothers – B.Suresh, a producer; Githan Ramesh, an actor and Jeevan, a businessman.
He married Supriya in 2007.
Jeeva’s Movies
As a child actor, Jeeva was seen in Cheran Pandian and Suryavamsam in 1996. He made his debut in a lead role in 2003 with Aasai Aasaiyai (2003). Ameer Sultan’s Raam (2005) saw him as an autistic and won him the The Cliff Award for Best Actor at the Cyprus International Film Festival. The movie will be remade in Korean as well. He was also seen with Mohanlal in Aran (2006) and in S.P. Jananathan’s E (2006).
In Pori (2007), he played a bookseller who has to fight the real estate mafia. Thenavattu was his only release in 2008 and was commercially successful.
His first release in 2009 was Siva Manasula Sakthi which did good business. His other releases are Kutchery, Kudumi and Drogi.
