Javed Jaffery is an actor in Bollywood and television. He is hosting a popular dance show called Boogie woogie since 1996 on Sony Entertainment Television and has also done the commentry for the teleision show Takeshi's Castle.

Javed is known for his comic roles and his deadpan expressions and has received an award for Salaam Namaste for Best Performance in a Comic Role (2006).

Javed owes his popularity to the Maggi tomato ketchup advertisements he was part of in the beginning of his career.
