Dara Singh Randhawa was born on 19th November 1928 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. His brother is also an actor.
He was trained in a type of wrestling called Pehlwani and has taken on wrestlers like Lou Thesz and Stanislaus Zbyszko.
Dara Singh’s Movie
Dara Singh essayed the role of Hanuman in the televised version of Ramayan. He acted in several movies like Sangdil (1952), Sher Dil (1965), Toofan (1969), Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge (2000) and Jab We Met (2007).
He continues to be seen on the screen and has roles in two movies releasing in 2009, Kambakkht Ishq and Maruthi Mera Dost.
