Boney Kapoor was born on 11th November 1955 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. His father Surinder Kapoor was also a movie producer. He has two brothers, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, both of whom are actors. Anil Kapoor was recently seen in the Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire. He also has a sister, Reena, who is married to Marwah who is part of the Film and Video Studios in Noida.

The Remake of kannada film "YEJAMANA" in hindi film.The film tentatively titled "YUUVRAAJ BHAAIYYA" or "RAJA BHAAIYYA" or BADE BHAAIYYA". The film stars Anil Kapoor in double role-Anil Kapoor(elder Brother) and Anil Kapoor(second brother-Businessman),Fardeen Khan(Third Brother),Shahid Kapoor(Fourth brother),Rani Mukerjee,Vidya Balan,Asin or Anjana Sukhani,Anoushka Serma,Irfan Khan,Boman Irani,Rajpal Yadav,Vijay raaz,Purab Kohli or Arjun Rampal.
