Bharat Shah is a Bollywood financer, distributor and a diamond merchant. He has been associated with some of Bollywood’s biggest hits like Satya (1998), Dil Se (1998), Mast (1999), Hey Ram (2000), Pukar (2000) and Devdas (2002).
He caught the media attention for all the wrong reasons when he was accused of having links with the underworld. He was convicted and was sentenced to a one year prison term in 2001.
