Arjun Mathur’s role in Luck By Chance caught the attention of movie-goers.
Mathur was born on 18th October 1981, in London. He studied acting at the Lee Strasburg Theater as well as Barry John’s Institute and Film Institute in New York.
Prior to Luck By Chance, Mathur was seen in a short film by Farhan Akhtar called Positive about AIDS and as Irrfan Khan’s lover in Mira Nair’s Migration.
After playing the part of a theater actor Abhimanyu in Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance, he will be seen in Mumbai Cutting (2009) which is a compilation of ten short films by various directors and in Raja Menon’s Barah Aana (2009) which also stars Vijay Raza and Naseeruddin Shah.
He has also worked as an assistant director for movies like Bunty Aur Babli (2005) and Rang De Basanti (2006).
